Updates to this existing facilities included state of the art communication cabling systems, dormitory training facilities, fire prevention offices, kitchen and fitness facilities, as well as other building envelope upgrades including a new roof, windows, and asphalt surfaces.<\/p>\n<p>During reconstruction of the existing ceilings, asbestos was discovered as insulation around mechanical pipes. Mold and lead paint were also discovered during the demolishing phase.
